Peurakoski is powered log cabin at Simo River, the upper part of the river.

Living room with two single beds, a bedroom with a double bed, kitchenette with electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, electric stove: 2 hotplates, stove. Yard has sleeping cabin (15 m2) with two single beds. Sauna, campfire, smoke oven, barbecue. Distance to the beach 25 m, rocky beach, canoe + 2 x life jackets.

Peurakoski has grayling and trout and even salmon. Simojoki is 180 km long river that begins from Lake Simojärvi (180 meters above sea level) and falls into the Bothnian Bay Simo. The river is 101 rapids, of which 51 are at Ranua side. The river is perfect for fly fishing from the shore. The upper part of the river is peaceful wilderness landscape, the lower part is more of a cultural landscape. The river is also ideal for hiking to kayaking.

Simo river's upper part of the river is fishing for a joint permit 2580. Nearest State hunting Ranua 2619 about 10 km.

Water from the river (we recommend boiling the drinking water), or brought along.

You can drive to the cabin cottage in summer, in winter distance is 600m to the cabin. Car heater outlet (2 units). Final cleaning is available at extra cost from the owner.
